‘I first saw Kike’s work at a local exhibition and I was immediately struck by it’s vibrancy and colour. I asked her to do a painting of our grandchildren. Firstly we sat down and talked through her ideas. I then sent her some photos to work from. Once Kike had started painting she sent regular updates via WhatsApp and kept in touch throughout the whole process. We are delighted with the result.’
